Love Not Being in Charge

I helped with a fundraiser today at CAG. For the past fifteen years I have been the one in charge of these type of events. I can't even count how many I have done. When you are in charge you are the first one there and the last one to leave. You work countless hours prior to the event and you spend several more after it finalizing and wrapping it up. When it is all done you are emotionally, physically and socially drained only to begin the process of the next big event. But not today! I put in about an hours worth of work yesterday preparing for today. Today, I showed up a little late, prepared for my job, did my job, cleaned up my job and left- never to think about it again.

I setup a blog spot awhile back but somehow lost it while trying to attach it to our website. Not sure if I closed it accidently or changed username or what but It is gone in cyber oblivion. Oh well I'm sure a better man than I could find it but I have exhausted all my brain cells trying. Seems easier to star over so here we go.
